This is a 3-day immersive sleepover experience. Alongside a beautifully designed stay, guests participate in a thoughtfully designed set of traditional imperial-inspired activities, created in collaboration with Airbnb.
WHO & HOW MAMY GUESTS?
This experience is designed for anyone interested in exploring Chinese imperial culture. While we recommend attending individually for the most immersive journey, groups are welcome. However, please choose your companions thoughtfully. Only one guest will have the opportunity to fully embody the role of the emperor.
Location
The location will be in Beijing, China, where the Forbidden City is located.
The entire palace experience will be approximately 1/36th the size of the Forbidden City, covering around 20,000 square meters. Each room is inspired by an actual palace within the Forbidden City.

Turning Over the Plaques
At the end of the day, the emperor would pick a consort for the night by choosing her name plaque.
As a substitution, the plaques would be designed like fortune cookie with the other side writing "auspicious phrases"
